Everyone at our church was new at one time or another, so we remember what its like. To make your visit easier, we have members to greet you and answer any questions you have. They are easy to find - they are located at every entrance into our building. They can point you in the right direction, help you get your kids to the right location, and provide you with information about our various ministries.
When should I arrive?
If you are visiting with children, we recommend you arrive 20 minutes early so that we can help you find your children's meeting rooms before escorting you to our adult Bible study groups. Our first worship starts at 8:30am, Sunday School starts at 9:45am, and our second worship service starts at 10:45am. We have a nursery for small children, and welcome kids of all ages in our worship services.
What about parking?
We have reserved parking spots for guests located in the row that is closest to the main sanctuary building (the big building). Plenty of parking exists in front, to the side, and behind the church. Feel free to use the covered drop off area for acess to the sanctuary.
How do I find a class?
Our greeters will be glad to explain the variety of class options available to you. We have an FYI (For Your Information) class during the Sunday School hour on the first Sunday of every month. It's a great way to discover more about PSBC.
What should I wear?
Come as you are! We don't want you to worry about what to wear to church, you will fit in just fine whether you come in dressed up, or more casual. What is in our hearts is more important that what is on our body!
What kinds of people are there?
On a typical Sunday, you'll see all kinds of people - from parents proud of their newborn, to students of all ages, singles enjoying socializing, and senior adults hanging out with life long friends. PSBC is truly a multi-generational community of faith with people from all walks of life.
What is there for my kids?
We believe that the church is a family of families. We have a large group of young families with small children. That's why we provide quality, energetic, fun programming for them. We've got all the resources necessary ... well trained teachers, great facilities, and plenty of toys and resources.
We have an excellent nursery for your little ones.
While you are in Bible study, your kids are too - in class designed just for their age group.
During the worship services: Preschool aged children remain in childcare while
school-aged children are invited to attend the full worship service with their parents.
