My wife, Karalee, and I are blessed with the opportunity to begin serving at Poplar Springs Baptist Church (Oct. 2014).  We have a three year old son named Carson and a newborn daughter named Sophia.  Karalee and I have a passion for equipping families for gospel-centered discipleship, building relationships with students, and reaching our community with the gospel.  In our free time, we are usually changing diapers.  If we are not changing diapers, then you may catch us hiking, traveling, watching Byrnes football, or eating dinner with friends.

Richard and I have been married for 33 years and members are PSBC for 25. We have two sons, Mitch & Matt, who have grown into fine young men and in May we gained a daughter, Leslie (Mitch's wife) whom we love very much!!
Family is very important to us and if we're somewhere spending time on the water....that's even better!  I also enjoy taking photos (got that from my grandpa Salter) and antique shopping.

I feel blessed that God has placed me here with the other PSBC staff...They're a great team to work with and in all the jobs that I have had in the past, this ministry/job is truly the BEST and most rewarding!!!
