Our passion at Poplar Springs is Worshiping God, Strengthening Families, and Changing Lives.

This is more than just a slogan at PSBC, its our plan for spiritual growth and health. We want to see people coming together to worship, getting connected to the family through small groups, and involved in life changing ministry.

Once someone is joining with other believers in a worship service, and connected in a small group Sunday School class, we believe the next step ist to get involved in some type of service.  Missions is at the heart of life changing service.

In addition to the many Southern Baptist mission ventures we support though Cooperative Program giving, we are involved our own local, national, and international missions efforts as well.

You can get involved by doing something as little as filling a shoe box through our Operation Christmas Child/Samaritan's Purse, donating money to help sponsor a child through our Santa Express each Christmas or joining one of our Mission teams. There is a place for everyone here at Poplar Springs Baptist Church.

If you would like to begin packing a box, you can find them beside the elevator in the vestivule with a brochure of instructions included.  If you would like to give $20 to help pack a box or $7.50 to ship a box, or both, please give cash only to Spritied Mission members Karen Neal or Donna Tucker.

Santa Express

The holidays are fast approaching so it is time to make your donations to Santa Express.  We would like to have all donations in by Sunday, November 16, 2014.  This will allow time for shoppers and party planners to prepare for the party.  You can make your donations through your Sunday School class or through the offering plate.  Just make sure to make a notation on the envelope.  The Santa Express party will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2014.  If you would like to shop or help with the party, there are sign-up sheets at the Welcome Center and in your Sunday School classes.  For more information, please contact Kim Rogers at This email address is being protected from spambots.
